Grammy- and Emmy-nominated singer-songwriter and composer Ingrid Michaelson is a force in the music industry, known for her distinctively soulful folk-pop style. She founded her own label, Cabin 24 Records, which releases her music — including her latest studio album For the Dreamers, as well as her gold and platinum hits, "The Way I Am," "Girls Chase Boys," and "You and I." She's scored songs for television, including Hulu’s Emmy nominated Little Fires Everywhere and Tiny Beautiful Things. Michaelson was also executive music producer for Apple TV+’s Slumberkins, creating original songs for the series.
She made her on-stage Broadway debut in Natasha, Pierre and The Great Comet of 1812 and made her Broadway debut as a composer in 2024 writing the music and lyrics for The Notebook: The Musical. She went on to co-produce the Grammy nominated Notebook Original Broadway Cast Album.
Upright bassist, singer and composer Carmen Quill (formerly Rothwell) presents music from her forthcoming album Harmless. The Seattle-born, Brooklyn-based artist combines subtle virtuosity with unconventional songwriting. Through vivid countermelodies, improvised responses, and rich arrangements, her music serves as a direct, dynamic reflection of her pithily insightful lyrics. Quill will be joined by longtime Scree bandmates Ryan El-Solh (guitar) and Jason Burger (drums), plus special guests. Presented in partnership with Wayward Music Series.

Founded by guitarist Ian Hughes in the early 2010s (formerly Freudian Slurp), Half Giraffe is a Seattle-based jazz-funk quintet whose tunes drift between adventurous, cinematic textures and funky, horn-driven grooves. The group has released three albums with a sound The Stranger has likened to “Chick Corea, Grant Green, Donald Byrd, and Ben Sidran.” Miss Minami opening.

Drummer Corey Fonville (Butcher Brown) and Hammond organ player Sam Fribush were brought together by guitarist and mentor Charlie Hunter, who told the pair, “the culture is starving for what you guys bring.” Recording live and unedited with a rotating cast of guitarists, the duo released a steady stream of Atlantic Coast-inspired “blue-collar jazz” this year, including the EP R&B Organ Trio (2026, Flybird Music) and LP What Day Is It (2026, WarHen).

Over the course of crafting a 29-album catalog and architecting 41 Billboard No.1 singles as a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, Brian Culbertson has charted his own unique course in music. Label him jazz and he makes a funk record. Call him an R&B artist and he drops an acoustic jazz trio collection. Brand him pop and he creates a 32-minute New Age opus. And you'd be hard pressed to name another instrumentalist of his ilk who can mount an elaborately designed concert production that will keep him on the road for months at a time.
Culbertson burst onto the scene in 1994 with a chart-topping album that he recorded in his college apartment featuring keyboard-led contemporary jazz tracks. Long Night Out landed him a lengthy record deal and signaled that a star was born.
Flash forward to 2026, Culbertson returns to his jazz fusion roots with Day Trip, a collection of adventurous tracks featuring a who's who in the fusion world including Marcus Miller, Branford Marsalis, Randy Brecker, Mike Stern, Eric Marienthal, Sheila E., Kirk Whalum, Nathan East, and many more.
Possessing style, panache and a savvy business mind capable of moving the needle in music and beyond, Culbertson co-founded with his wife Michelle the annual Napa Valley Jazz Getaway (and their spin-offs in Chicago, New Orleans, and Hawaii), which have attracted guests from all over the globe to experience these premier events.
