Grace Kelly With The Marc Seales Trio

Saxophonist/vocalist, Grace Kelly has just released her 8th CD, and she is only 21 years old. Those two facts kind of say it all. Grace is a prodigiously talented musician.

She’s also delightful company, which is why we were so happy to receive a return visit from Grace for a KPLU Studio Session.

This time around Grace is accompanied by a Seattle trio consisting of Marc Seales (piano), Jeff Johnson (bass) and Ted Poor (drums).

Abe grew up in Western Washington, a 3rd generation Seattle/Tacoma kid. It was as a student at Pacific Lutheran University that Abe landed his first job at KNKX, editing and producing audio for news stories. It was a Christmas Day shift no one else wanted that gave Abe his first on-air experience which led to overnights, then Saturday afternoons, and started hosting Evening Jazz in 1998.
