This event features a documentary screening and facilitated discussion centered on the documentary American Delivery. Our goal is to bring healthcare professionals and community members together to better understand the rising maternal mortality rates in the United States, especially the disproportionate impact on women of color. While this conversation is open to the public, the targeted audience are RNs, LPNs, Nursing students and anyone working with pregnant individuals. We want to create a space where healthcare staff can reflect on how implicit bias shows up in maternal settings, its affects on the experiences of birthing mothers, and how each of us can contribute to safer, more equitable care. By learning together, sharing perspectives, and hearing directly from our community, we hope to strengthen awareness and inspire action that improves outcomes for all families.

The SisterFriend Gathering, presented by Peace Works United, is a two‑hour pop‑up women’s intensive designed to spark connection, courage, and truth‑telling across cultures. This intentional meetup calls in Black, Latina, Asian, Indigenous, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern/North African, white, and Multiracial women to step in together and make the effort to truly know one another. Featuring GooGoo Atkins in an intimate conversation and a signed copy of her new book, the gathering blends guided networking, women‑owned businesses, music, and joyful cross‑cultural sisterhood. “We heal when we come close,” says host Peace Queen, Melannie Denise Cunningham. “This space helps women build real relationships on purpose.”

ABOUT THE WNBR Celebrating bicycle power and the beauty of people World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) is an international clothing-optional people powered event that highlights the vulnerability of cyclists everywhere decries society’s dependence on pollution-based transport and promotes positive body image. It’s also just a lot of fun! The event is bare-as-you-dare; anything from body paint to underwear to fanciful costumes are encouraged. Due to legal restrictions full frontal nudity is at your own risk but many participants do go all out. Large-scale body painting is typically available pre-ride and personal expression is encouraged. past events drew over 2000 riders and covered over ten miles of high visibility city areas. Blessed by decent summer weather in a great cycling city the event has grown into a fantastic rolling celebration complete with a massive afterparty. Participants often describe it as a transcendent group experience personally transforming and beyond superlative.

A beautiful way to experience the upper Snoqualmie Valley. Join the Northwest Railway Museum for Wine Train excursions featuring Snoqualmie Valley wineries, food, and scenic views! Guests receive a complementary souvenir wine glass with each ticket and each glass comes with 8 tokens to exchange for 1-oz tasting pours. The 2.5-3 hour program includes wine tastings at the Snoqualmie Depot and the Train Shed Exhibit Hall.
Visitors will receive 8 tasting tokens to spend on the wine varieties as they please.Hors d'oeuvres will be provided by local Snoqualmie Valley businesses and the Museum encourages passengers to visit local restaurants after their excursion returns to the station.

We are delighted to offer a Danish Language Class in partnership with the Scandinavian Language Institute. This nine-week series will allow you to jump into the basics of Danish language and culture in a supportive, face-to-face classroom environment. Students will learn essential vocabulary, everyday phrases, pronunciation, and simple grammar structures through interactive activities, conversation practice, and cultural activities.
No prior foreign language experience is required; ages 16+.

Lakewold Gardens once again embraces the spooky fun of the Halloween season at its annual All Hallows Festival. Wander the eerily lit gardens and search for sculptures of nature's strange creatures hidden among the trees and foliage. Then step into the Wagner House field research station for up-close examination of the creepy creatures through taxidermy, microscopes and a science experiment. Mysterious crafts, activities, treats, prizes and a haunted vendor fair will bewitch and delight curious investigators of all ages. Costumes are strongly encouraged.
