A singer, composer and actor, Lyle Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the Texas-based musician fuses elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers.
Lovett’s live performances show not only the breadth of this Texas legend’s deep talents, but also the diversity of his influences, making him one of the most compelling and captivating musicians in popular music.
Since his self-titled debut in 1986, Lyle Lovett has evolved into one of music’s most vibrant and iconic performers. Among his many accolades, besides the four Grammy Awards, he was given the Americana Music Association’s inaugural Trailblazer Award, and was named Texas State Musician.
His works, rich and eclectic, are some of the most beloved of any artist working today.
Frank Maza & Javier Limón present an evening of original music rooted in Cuban Flamenco, and Jazz tradition. Led by Frank Maza and multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning flamenco guitarist Javier Limón, the performance brings to life a collection of songs shaped by a bridge between cultures. Pure music.
Frank Maza is a singer and story-teller whose music bridges the worlds of American songwriting, Afro-Cuban rhythm, flamenco, and jazz. Raised between Madrid and Boston, Maza grew up surrounded by the legacies of artists such as Bebo Valdés, Paco de Lucía, Nat King Cole, Enrique Morente and Leonard Cohen, developing a voice that feels both timeless and contemporary. His acclaimed album Back Then, produced by Javier Limón, features collaborations with legendary pianist Chucho Valdés, Grammy-nominated vocalist Daymé Arocena, and Cuban jazz master Iván “Melón” Lewis. Through songs that blend storytelling, poetry, and Latin tradition, Maza invites audiences into a world where songs are stories, cultures intersect naturally, and the past inspires something entirely new.
Join MBT for an iconic evening with Herb Alpert and his brand new Tijuana Brass. Alpert will take over MBT’s Main Stage alongside six incredible musicians: Bill Cantos on the piano and marimba, Kerry Marx on guitar, Ryan Dragon on trombone, Kris Bergh on trumpet, Ray Brinker on the drums, and Hussain Jiffry on the bass. The group will play all of your favorite Tijuana Brass hit songs — just as you remember hearing them while growing up.
Alpert loves answering audience questions about his career. He’ll chat with the audience about the record company he established with Jerry Moss (A&M Records) and his experience with the many iconic artists he has worked with over the past 64 years, including The Sergio Mendes & Brasil 66, The Carpenters, and Burt Bacharach. A giant video screen will display hundreds of classic photos, videos, art, and various memorabilia from Alpert’s legacy. Enjoy more than music in this once in a lifetime concert event.

Where once belonging was measured by front‑porch waves and neighborhood gatherings, today it hinges on paperwork and the threat of separation – or possibly far worse.
Sasha Berliner is a San Francisco-raised, Los Angeles-based vibraphonist and composer who, in 2020, became the first woman and youngest-ever winner of DownBeat Critics Poll Rising Star–Vibraphone award. A rock drummer turned mallet virtuoso, she has collaborated with Christian McBride, Tyshawn Sorey, and Cécile McLorin Salvant. Her recent release, Fantôme (2025, Outside In Music) was hailed as a defining statement in contemporary jazz. Now she turns sights to “Arts & Sciences,” a new electric project for vibraphone sound affected by the electronic MalletKAT, with a debut release this fall. Earshot Jazz Festival Resident Artist Sidney Hauser gets the evening started with a quartet that draws on jazz’s many offshoots and showcases her truly distinctive voice on saxophone. She’s joined by some of Seattle’s most dexterous players — Trevor Ford (bass), Dylan Hayes (keyboards), and Adam Kessler (drums) — in celebration of the group’s anticipated debut album, Whirl.

Over the course of crafting a 29-album catalog and architecting 41 Billboard No.1 singles as a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, Brian Culbertson has charted his own unique course in music. Label him jazz and he makes a funk record. Call him an R&B artist and he drops an acoustic jazz trio collection. Brand him pop and he creates a 32-minute New Age opus. And you'd be hard pressed to name another instrumentalist of his ilk who can mount an elaborately designed concert production that will keep him on the road for months at a time.
Culbertson burst onto the scene in 1994 with a chart-topping album that he recorded in his college apartment featuring keyboard-led contemporary jazz tracks. Long Night Out landed him a lengthy record deal and signaled that a star was born.
Flash forward to 2026, Culbertson returns to his jazz fusion roots with Day Trip, a collection of adventurous tracks featuring a who's who in the fusion world including Marcus Miller, Branford Marsalis, Randy Brecker, Mike Stern, Eric Marienthal, Sheila E., Kirk Whalum, Nathan East, and many more.
Possessing style, panache and a savvy business mind capable of moving the needle in music and beyond, Culbertson co-founded with his wife Michelle the annual Napa Valley Jazz Getaway (and their spin-offs in Chicago, New Orleans, and Hawaii), which have attracted guests from all over the globe to experience these premier events.
