Emails obtained by OPB and KUOW show that at least six electric substations in the region have been attacked, at least two with firearms. Friends and family gathered Monday afternoon to remember one of the four University of Idaho students who were stabbed to death in their home early on Nov. 13. Police in the college town of Moscow, Idaho, have yet to identify a suspect in the slayings. The memorial service for Ethan Chapin was held Monday afternoon in Mount Vernon, Washington, where he attended high school.

Authorities investigating the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students as they slept in a house near campus are asking for patience as detectives ended the first week with no arrests. Authorities on Sunday said they have no suspect or weapon a week after the Nov. 13 killings that shook Moscow, a town of 25,000 residents in the Idaho Panhandle.
