Each year, the Golden Ear Awards recognize and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the previous year in Seattle jazz.

Since 1984, Seattle's Earshot Jazz has cultivated a vibrant jazz community, ensuring the legacy and progression of the art form by engaging audiences, celebrating artists and supporting arts education.

Community participation is a key ingredient of the Earshot mission.

The annual Golden Ear Awards encourage that participation with nominations and selection of the year's best artists, performances and recordings, along with inductees to the Seattle Jazz Hall of Fame.

Ballots are due March 5. You can vote here.

The Golden Ear Awards Party will be held at The Royal Room on March 14, featuring D'Vonne Lewis' Limited Edition band, followed by awards presentations with Alex Dugdale as MC.

Wrapping up the evening will be trumpeter Thomas Marriott's Monday Jam Session.

The challenging circumstances of the past two years have made it clear that artists and performance venues require community support.

Please participate in keeping Seattle jazz active and thriving.
