Sponsored by KNKX. On Tuesday, February 24, 2026 the Alliance For Pioneer Square and Seattle Jazz Fellowship are presenting the third “Jazz Night In Pioneer Square,” a jazz-walk style event featuring fifteen jazz groups across fifteen venues and locations in historic Pioneer Square. The event features some of Seattle’s best-loved local jazz talent and is completely free of charge.
Scheduled to appear are Skerik, Ann Reynolds, Sidney Hauser, Elnah Jordan, Paul Richardson, Kate Olson, Joe Doria, Jovino Santos Neto, Marc Seales, Beserat Tafesse, Jacqueline Tabor, Mike Daugherty, Free Fall w/ Thomas Marriott, Jeff Johnson, John Bishop & Rick Mandyck, Duende Libre, and D’Vonne Lewis.
Participating venues include Bacovino, Friend Museum, New Skid Road Theatre, Zeitgeist Coffee, AXIS Pioneer Square, Trinity, Europa, Darkalinos, Expansive, Long Brothers Fine & Rare Books, Seattle Jazz Fellowship, Baba Yaga, The Central Saloon, Parlour, and Underbelly. The evening concludes with an after party at the longest-running jam session in Seattle, held at the Owl N’ Thistle every Tuesday since 1997. The jam session starts around 9:30 p.m. and ends at 1:00 a.m. The first “Jazz Night In Pioneer Square,” presented by Seattle Jazz Fellowship in mid-February 2025, had close to 2500 people turn out, jamming every venue to capacity with crowds spilling into the streets. After the success of the first Jazz Night, the Alliance For Pioneer Square stepped in to help with the equally successful July 2025 Jazz Night. The organizers expect a similar audience for the February 2026 event. Thanks to support from The Alliance for Pioneer Square, KNKX 88.5 FM, and 4 Culture, the event is free of charge and reservations are not necessary. Attendees simply need to show up, ready for fun. The Central Saloon, Baba Yaga, Underbelly, & The Owl N Thistle are 21 and older only. All other venues are all-ages.
