Last week, multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and bandleader Jon Batiste got an astounding 11 Grammy nominations across several musical genres.

The Jazz Foundation of America's important work includes emergency assistance, work opportunities and community engagement for jazz and blues musicians. Proceeds from the "Relief" recording will support JFA programs.

Roy Hargrove accompanied in the studio by pianist Jonathan Batiste, bassist Ameen Saleem, saxophonist Justin Robinson, and drummer Montez Coleman as they performed three songs: Low Life, For Tamisha, and Soulful.
