Mariner Jake Fraley (28) is mobbed by teammates, including J.P. Crawford (3) after he was walked with the bases loaded during the tenth inning of a baseball game against the San Francisco Giants, Thursday, April 1, 2021, in Seattle. The Mariners won 8-7.

The Seattle Mariners' 2021 season is officially underway. They're hosting the San Francisco Giants for three games at T-Mobile Park. Fans are back but in a limited capacity under Phase 3 of the state's COVID reopening plan. We learn more about the season from KNKX sports commentator Art Thiel and Morning Edition host Kirsten Kendrick.
