They may not be able to be in the stands to cheer him on, but fans of pitcher James Paxton are happy that the Canada native known affectionately as The Big Maple has returned to the Mariners for the 2021 season. Here's The Maple Grove in 2018 in Seattle.

The Seattle Mariners begin spring training workouts next week in Arizona. And a familiar face is back. Starting pitcher James Paxton has signed a one-year deal with the team worth $8.5 million.
