A Seattle couple is heading an effort to recall Mayor Katie Wilson. They filed recall charges with the King County Elections Office on Tuesday.
Melinda Jacobson and Dale Osterud claim the mayor is derelict in her duties for public safety of the city.
In a statement, the mayor's office said it appears the charges are without merit and that the courts will address any questions while the mayor addresses the needs of Seattle.
