Washington lawmakers move to rein in AI

Concerned about artificial intelligence proliferating unchecked, state lawmakers are moving forward with several proposals for new regulations on AI applications. Those include a measure to prevent AI surveillance in public schools and another that would require developers to include AI detection tools with their products.
