Paws & Pride Dog Jog & Walk
Paws & Pride Dog Jog & Walk
The Eastside welcomes Pride Month with the first-ever LGBTQIA+ dog jog & walk in Downtown Bellevue! The Bellevue Downtown Association and Eastside Pride PNW are proud to debut the inaugural Paws & Pride Dog Jog & Walk, supported by Symetra, on Sunday, June 4 at Ashwood Park – adjacent to Bellevue Library.
Focused on inclusivity on the Eastside, this event will spotlight Eastside Pride PNW and their vision of a world free of prejudice and bias where everyone is safe, valued and feels a sense of belonging. Event benefactors will be Seattle Humane of Bellevue and Lambert House, a community center for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth in the greater Seattle area.
Participant goodie bags will feature customized event bandanas– a memorable keepsake of this inaugural Pride event in the Heart of Bellevue. The event is a non-competitive 4k (~2.5 miles) stroll through the streets of Bellevue with your pup (those without dogs are welcome too). Complimentary event parking will be available at Bellevue Library, adjacent to Ashwood Park.
