Seattle-Kobe Sister City Association

Until December, Seattle-Kobe Sister City Association presents a jazz series at the storied Panama Hotel in Seattle's Japantown-Nihonmachi district.

The Seattle-Kobe Female Jazz Vocalist Audition will return October 13, for the first time since 2019. Past participants call the unique jazz exchange "life-changing."

As official sister cities Seattle and Kobe, Japan, have hosted a unique jazz music exchange for more than two decades. The tradition continues in October when Yuka Misaki, Kobe's 2023 Jazz Vocal Queen, visits Seattle for a series of performances.
