Nutcracker

There's a bit of a whirlwind story, with ties to the Netherlands, behind Roosevelt High School's annual performance of The Jazz Nutcracker.

"Land of the Sweets" is special for its burlesque take on "The Nutcracker." It’s also a chance for non-traditional dancers to perform ballet. The production, now in its 16th year, features live jazz and comedy.
