Troops from Joint Base Lewis-McChord have been involved in Afghanistan throughout the conflict these many years. And The News Tribune is reporting that an Air Force plane from JBLM was one of those flying people out of Kabul on Monday.

KNKX’s Ed Ronco spoke with Rep. J.T. Wilcox, the Republican leader in the state House of Representatives, and Rep. Laurie Jinkins, the Democratic House speaker, about the impact in Washington state.
