Nancy claims her animals are the best fed in three counties, but she and her husband don't make it easy for them. When Mac breakfasts the dogs he likes to “build enthusiasm,” as he calls it. Nance says that "He...takes...his...time while our big dog sits quietly drooling on the floor and the little dog throws herself up against the cabinet, screeches, freaks out.”

Nancy says her big dog is afraid of the beeps her Instant Pot emits. If you know how to disable that sound, she and her dog, Doug, would love to hear from you. Near as I can tell, our new cat has no problem with appliance sounds of any kind. Even when I hum Khatchaturian's "Sabre Dance" to my KitchenAid stand mixer.
