Community is an essential ingredient that makes the work we do at KNKX possible.
This season, we want to nurture the generous community that continues to support KNKX and independent public media. For the second year in a row, we’re partnering with Northwest Harvest to help children who lack reliable food resources outside of school. Every gift of $100 to our Winter Drive, November 28 - December 6, will support the enlightening and inspiring programs you hear on KNKX and fill a backpack with food for Northwest Harvest’s Three Squares program.
Guided by a mission to fight hunger in our region, Northwest Harvest uses the Three Squares program to make sure food insecure students in high needs public schools across Washington state have nutritious, kid-friendly food to sustain them over weekends.
