Seattle Jazz Fellowship - Fellowship Wednesdays

Fellowship Wednesday is our regular showcase of local jazz excellence, featuring two different bands that represent divergent aspects of our local jazz community each week.

Each Fellowship Wednesday features an album listening session starting at 5:30PM, hosted by our Artist In Residence Julian Priester. Mr. Priester will feature albums he played on as a leader or side-person, and share his recollections about the music and the session. Mr. Priester’s trombone can be heard on albums from some of jazz’s most significant artists: Duke Ellington, Ray Charles, Herbie Hancock, Sun Ra, John Coltrane and Max Roach to name a few. FREE OF CHARGE

6:30PM is Fellowship hour - an opportunity to catch up with friends, listen to some “sides” and meet some of the new faces in our community. At 7:30PM we showcase two of Seattle’s top jazz artists every week with a set of live music from each band.

Admission is $20.00 (suggested donation) and all seats are first-come, first-served. Vermillion is an art-bar and gallery located at 1508 11th Avenue, Seattle. All shows are all-ages.
