ArtWalks and Music Strolls transform downtown Issaquah into an open-air gallery and music venue. On these evenings, local artists display their work in shops, galleries, and public spaces while live musicians perform throughout downtown, creating a lively, walkable experience that invites people to linger, explore, and connect.
Marina Albero on piano and vocals, Jonti Siman on bass and Chris Icasiano on drums.
Barcelona born pianist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Marina Albero presents music from her critically acclaimed album, A Nomad of Sound—a genre-defying exploration of identity, movement, and musical kinship. Now based in New Orleans, Albero conceived and recorded this work during a transformative residency in the city, blending jazz, flamenco, Latin rhythms, and Mediterranean traditions with New Orleans’ unmistakable brass and soul.
Tonight’s performance features music from the album, including selections that reflect the emotional arc of travel—beginnings, arrivals, departures, and the soulful in-between. She is joined by bassist Jonti Siman and drummer Chris Icasiano, whose rich, grounding tone and grooves add depth and dynamism to the journey.
Named Earshot Jazz’s Recording of the Year (2024), A Nomad of Sound is both a personal diary and a global soundscape—where each note is a step and every song a destination.

A BIT ABOUT AMPED - Loud guitars, good people, and a shared purpose: raising money to support the organization that’s helped shape the community Dave Harvey cares so deeply about.
Turning Up the Volume for Downtown: Dave Harvey Gives Back Through MusicAs a resident of historic downtown Issaquah, Dave Harvey has watched the streets he calls home come alive in ways that feel both nostalgic and new—music drifting down Front Street, neighbors gathering at events, artwork in booths lining sidewalks. A lot of that energy, he knows, comes from the work of the Downtown Issaquah Association (DIA). And as a volunteer who has received DIA’s “Get ‘Er Done” award, he’s been part of it—helping where he can, showing up when it counts. But for Dave, “showing up” started to feel like it could mean something more. So he did what any lifelong music lover with a couple of rock bands in his orbit might do—he decided to throw a concert. Not just any concert, but a full-on benefit concert for DIA powered by three local rock bands, including his own, Magnetic Grey
