Benefit concert will support programs for immigrants
Singing a mixture of jazz standards, pop music hits from across the decades, and old Yale tunes, the Yale University Whiffenpoofs will bring their amazing musicality to St. John | San Juan Episcopal Church on Monday, October 13 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The Whiffenpoofs are an iconic Yale University a cappella singing group founded in 1909. It is best known for its signature number, "The Whiffenpoof Song". The group is so esteemed that it’s performed at Carnegie Hall and other internationally known venues, in more than 20 countries on six continents, and on several well-known TV shows.
