The first-ever Seattle Black Nerd Festival presented by LANGSTON arrives just in time for Memorial Day weekend! For two days, we’re transforming the historic Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute into a cosmic portal of joy, growth, connection, and unapologetic nerding out over our favorite books, comics, games, films, anime, and more.
The theme for the inaugural year is Cosmic Grapevines, inspired by all of us shaping change as Cosmic Grapevine Sowers–the cultivators of empathy, adaptability, and free Black radical imagination. Costumes and inspired attire are encouraged!
