Global Artists Collective, a local nonprofit representing some of the NW's best performing artists, will bring the award-winning band Global Heat & special guest Roz to Bellevue Youth Theatre for a concert free for all-ages on Saturday October 11, 7:00-8:30 pm. Mixing Soul/R&B, Funk & Hip Hop, this all-live ensemble will perform Music Soulstice featuring songs from the great American songbook of Soul music and its spinoffs in R&B, Funk, Neo-Soul and Hip Hop. Hear Golden Age of Soul hits by Ray Charles, Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin, and James Brown; the Motown of Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder; R&B from Earth Wind and Fire, Sly & the Family Stone, Michael Jackson, and more; and contemporary spinoff styles from artists like Lizzo, Lauryn Hill, Anderson Paak, and Kendrick Lamar.
