Fourth of July 2025 Regional Events
Here are some regional events celebrating the Fourth of July! All events are Thursday, July 4 except where otherwise noted.
Bellevue
The Bellevue Family 4th returns to Bellevue Downtown Park, bringing the Eastside’s largest Independence Day celebration to life. Enjoy an evening filled with live music, family entertainment, fun activities, and a spectacular fireworks display lighting up the Bellevue skyline. A special thanks to the City of Bellevue for co-producing this unforgettable event. The festivities start at 5 p.m.
Bellingham
The Bellingham Regional Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Peoples Bank and the Port of Bellingham to provide the community with its annual July 4th fireworks display. The fireworks show will begin at 10:30 PM on Friday, July 4th at Zuanich Point Park. Beer Garden and food trucks from 12:00-10:00 p.m., Free Kids Zone from 2-6 p.m.; the Fireworks Display begins at 10:30 p.m.
Blaine
Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration in Downtown Blaine & Blaine Harbor - Come spend the day celebrating the 4th of July in Blaine. Visit our Farmers Market for a variety of vendors with unique items and grab lunch at one of our delightful local downtown restaurants. Then enjoy the evening watching the fireworks light up the sky over Semiahmoo Bay! The festivities begin at 10:30 a.m. with the street fair, followed by a car show, parade, and the beer garden+music from 5-10 p.m. The fireworks start at 10:30 p.m.
Bothell
This event brings together thousands of people of all ages to celebrate and gather in the heart of our community, downtown Bothell. Bothell's Hometown Celebration will kick off with a Pancake Breakfast (8:30-10:30 a.m.) hosted by your Bothell Fire Department, followed by the Children's Parade starting at 11:15 a.m., the Grand Parade at noon, and surrounding community activities.
Burien
The Fourth of July parade starts promptly at 11:00AM and runs for approximately two hours. This is Burien’s largest parade, and thousands of people attend this great community event!
Edmonds
An Edmonds Kind of 4th Children’s Parade & Main Parade - Children’s Parade: 11:30am FREE to join! Register at the Ace Hardware parking lot between 9:30am-11:15am. Strollers, wagons & other non-motorized wheeled “vehicles” are YES, OK. No animals or pets. Edmonds Fourth of July 5K and 1K Family Run: Stick around after the race to enjoy the Edmonds 4th of July Parade and keep the celebration going. We are changing it up a bit this year and while there is still a chance to beat Ol’ Man Brackett, the focus is more on the parade and community fun. All proceeds benefit the Chamber's programming and bringing great events to Edmonds. The 5K is timed and prizes are given for the top three runners in each gender and first place finisher in each age category. Winners will be recognized and prizes given shortly after the end of the race finish. The 1K Family Run, presented by People’s Bank of Edmonds, is a fun and exciting race for the whole family. Registration is free, but required to participate. The 1K is NOT timed. Start for both races is at Edmonds City Park and Finish line is at 4th and Main. The race route winds through the scenic streets of Edmonds and the Town of Woodway, culminating in a thrilling finish right on the Edmonds 4th of July parade route, where crowds cheer you on!
Federal Way
Join us at Celebration Park in Federal Way on July 4th for the Red, White & Blues Festival! Enjoy live music, food vendors, and family fun all day. The main stage lights up at 4:00 PM with diverse performers. Don’t miss the fireworks at 10:15 PM. Bring lawn chairs and blankets for comfort. Admission and parking are free for all. The festivities include live music and main stage entertainment, food vendors, games and crafts for families, kid's parade and inflatables. Fireworks start at 10:15 p.m.
Issaquah
The annual Down Home 4th of July event returns in 2025! Join us for the Kids & Pets Parade and then stay to enjoy some music, food trucks, and space to picnic along Front Street. The Kids & Pets Parade starts at 11 a.m. and moves south down Front Street. Spruce up your furry friend and your non-motorized wheels in red, white & blue to parade down Front Street. Wave to the crowds lining the street to cheer you and your pet on. Be sure to register in advance, especially if you are bringing a large group. For parade participants, we recommend arriving at 10:30 a.m. to get lined up for an 11 a.m. start. The parade staging will be along NE Dogwood Street.
Lacey
July 3: For over 50 years, Lacey has celebrated the holiday a day early with a free fireworks show, local food vendors food, and live music! Lacey Fireworks Spectacular is from 4-11 p.m. at Rainier Vista Community Park.
Mt. Vernon
The Fabulous 4th of July fireworks show is a good time for the entire family! Our spectacular firework show begins at dark. Edgewater Park is the perfect place to join us for lots of space to spread out and enjoy the best seats in the house for awesome fireworks at dark (approximately 10 p.m.). Park opens at 8 p.m.
Seattle
Seafair Fourth of July, 3-11 p.m. at Gasworks Park, South Lake Union Park, and Lake Union. The Seafair 4th of July is the best way to experience Independence Day in the Pacific Northwest. This fun-packed event features a fully choreographed fireworks presentation accompanied by a musical score and a host of pre-show activities during the day. 4th of July festivities offer several free and reserved seating options and multiple vantage points to enjoy the show, with each location offering its own unique experience.
Summer Concerts at the Ballard Locks includes a July 4 concert with Seattle Civic Band at 2 p.m.
The West Seattle 4th of July Kids parade is a beloved tradition dating back nearly 30 years. It started when a family in the Admiral neighborhood organized a little get together for friends and neighbors to dress up in festive gear and walk to Hamilton View Point Park for a picnic. Join us on Friday July 4th at 10 a.m. at the corner of Sunset Ave and 44th Ave NW for the parade festivities and kick off! Hear the national anthem and get fun swag for yourself and your bike, stroller, or scooter. We'll walk the short route through the north Admiral neighborhood to Hamilton View Point Park for fun, food trucks, and festivities! Kids of all ages and their parents too, dress up in their best festive and fun 4th of July garb and decorate bikes, strollers, scoters and even pets to walk the short parade route through the neighborhood! The parade has grown a bit over the years as more families have moved into West Seattle. Now, the park is a bit more active at the parade’s end with sponsors hosting kids' activity tables and food trucks to feed the festive revelers. But one thing remains the same – we still have the potato sack races that everyone loves!
Tacoma
Tacoma’s 4th of July Summer Blast is the City of Tacoma’s official 4th of July Celebration. Head to the Ruston Way Waterfront where you’ll enjoy a full day of live music, food, entertainment, and craft vendors. The fun begins at noon and ends with spectacular fireworks over Puget Sound. The celebration takes place at Dune Peninsula and Cummings Park on Ruston Way with over 150 vendors, 2 stages and a 20-minute firework display. The fireworks display can be seen from Dune Peninsula Park in the north, along Ruston Way Waterfront, and stretching to Jack Hyde Park in the south.
Tumwater
Commemorate Independence Day in historic Tumwater at these exciting events. Enjoy a captivating parade, family-friendly festivities, and a mesmerizing firework display. Experience the excitement of Tumwater's annual Independence Day Parade running from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Witness a magnificent display of pride and patriotism as local political figures, veteran groups, and community organizations ride in cars and on floats and parade through town. Don't miss out on this unforgettable display of Tumwater's community spirit! The fireworks show begins at 10:15 p.m. at Tumwater Valley Golf Course on the driving range.
