EquityED 2024: An Antiracist Education Conference
The Community Network Council proudly announces EquityED 2024, an antiracist education conference aimed at fostering transformative teaching and advancing equity in education. Themed "Becoming Antiracist: Reimagining an Equitable Society through Transformative Teaching," EquityED will be a pivotal event for educators, school administrators, community leaders and advocates dedicated to addressing racial biases and fostering inclusive cultures within educational institutions.

Keynote Speakers:
Dr. Joy Degruy of Portland State University, author of “Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome: America’s Legacy of Enduring Injury and Healing”.
Dr. Fatima Stanford, pediatric physician, researcher, and health policy expert at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Ben Danielson, pediatric physician and Professor of Pediatrics, University of Washington Medical School.
EquityED will offer attendees a comprehensive exploration of tools, skills, inspiration, and insights crucial for combating racial biases, preventing trauma, and nurturing inclusive environments in schools and organizations.
