ASMR Dumpling-making Theater
Come to witness the intimate art of dumpling-making transformed into a mesmerizing sensory performance. Through a sequence of collective cooking activities, amplified by ASMR, this experimental theater production illuminates the complex dynamics of food production and fosters a deep empathy for the often-unseen labor of immigrants.
Supported by the University of Washington, Tacoma campus, the Asia Pacific Cultural Center, Tacoma Creates, and Tacoma Arts Live.
