30th Seattle Jewish Film Festival - March 22-April 6, 2025

The Stroum Jewish Community Center (SJCC) has announced the full lineup of films for the 30h Seattle Jewish Film Festival (SJFF) with in-person and virtual programs, community connections and conversations, and special events featuring food, music, and visiting guests. SJFF showcases a diverse mix of award-winning, global cinema that celebrates and amplifies Jewish life, identity, history, and culture for everyone–from uplifting comedies and gripping dramas to thought-provoking documentaries and shorts.

As the Pacific Northwest’s largest and longest-running Jewish event, SJFF has premiered 1,000 cinematic gems in our three-decade run. In theaters + virtually, SJFF showcases 30 films for our 30th anniversary.

Opening night film: Midas Man at AMC Pacific Place on March 22
Step back into the Swinging Sixties and witness the electric rise of Brian Epstein, the visionary who catapulted The Beatles from a scrappy Liverpool band into the biggest rock phenomenon of all time. From smoky backroom clubs to sold-out stadiums, Epstein didn’t just manage a band—he unleashed a cultural revolution, amplifying the sound of a generation. This captivating film chronicles his unyielding belief in The Beatles’ potential and the personal toll he paid as he sacrificed everything to elevate his artists to the pinnacle of fame.

Featuring a star-making performance by Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (STAR WARS, THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, “The Queen’s Gambit,” “Bodies”) alongside dynamic cameos by Emily Watson, Eddie Marsan, Jay Leno, and Eddie Izzard, MIDAS MAN explores the genius and vulnerabilities of a man who turned dreams into gold yet couldn’t escape his own struggles. Amid the vibrancy of a decade dancing to a new beat, Epstein’s lonely genius brilliantly shines through, echoing the sacrifices of someone who risked it all to change music history forever.

In addition to in-person screenings, most films will be available for streaming March 31–April 13.
