Seattle City Council votes to move forward with data center moratorium

Seattle City councilmembers have voted to move forward with legislation that would place a one-year moratorium on construction of large data centers in city limits.

At a committee meeting Wednesday, dozens of public commenters urged city councilmembers to support the moratorium.
