Seattle Art Museum workers announce a plan to unionize

Workers at the Seattle Art Museum want to form a union. This comes after security guards there agreed on a contract in 2024.

Seattle Art Museum employees delivered a letter to CEO Scott Stulen and the museum's board of trustees on Wednesday. They want better wages, improved healthcare and retirement benefits, as well as transparency and collaboration when it comes to decision-making.
