A documentary about one of the worst national men’s soccer teams is a part of the first Seattle Soccer Film Festival, taking place Dec. 9-11. The film also happens to have a local connection.
The documentary “Next Goal Wins” follows the American Samoa Men’s National team in their quest to qualify for the 2014 World Cup. One of the assistant coaches for the team grew up in the Tacoma area.
