A Seattle Tradition: The Sights and Sounds Of The Argosy Christmas Ship Festival

Christmastime in Seattle brings a special tradition that’s a treat for boaters and beach-goers alike: the annual Argosy Christmas ship festival.

Flotillas of private ships and boats gather round the main vessel, which sails to a different waterfront community in Puget Sound each night. It features performances from local choirs that can be enjoyed from the shore or the water.

The festival continues through Monday night and concludes with a grand finale at Gasworks Park.
