The Gonzaga men's basketball team will find out Sunday where they will be seeded in the NCAA tournament. They're expected to be ranked No. 1 overall since they're entering the tournament with an undefeated record. SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Nigel Williams-Goss, who led Gonzaga to its first appearance in the Final Four, said Tuesday that he will skip his senior season and declare for the NBA draft. He will hire an agent, precluding his return to Gonzaga.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs survived a furious second-half rally by South Carolina to advance to their first national championship game.

South Carolina reeled off 16 straight points to take a 67-65 lead with 7:06 to play. Zach Collins answered with a 3-pointer to put Gonzaga back on top and the Bulldogs held on from there.

Collins, a 7-foot freshman, had an impressive stat line: 14 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks in 23 minutes of play.

It’s been quite a season for two college basketball teams in Washington. The Gonzaga men’s team is ranked No. 1 in the nation. And the University of Washington women are 10th in the country. But it’s quite a different story for the UW men’s team.

It's the topic of this week's chat between knkx sports commentator Art Thiel and 88.5's Kirsten Kendrick.
