Investigators are beginning to shed light on the mysterious, sudden death of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's estranged half-brother in Malaysia on Monday.

Malaysian police said they are investigating the suspicious death of a North Korean man who fell ill at the Kuala Lumpur airport. Multiple media outlets are reporting that the man is Kim Jong Nam.

The nickname making fun of North Korea's leader apparently has been wiped from China's major search engine and microblogging platform. The phrase "Kim Fat Fat Fat," however, was left untouched.

North Korea's leader was speaking at the country's highest-level political gathering since 1980. This comes after it has conducted a series of provocative weapons tests.
