This year marks the Year of the Water Rabbit in the Chinese Zodiac. There are a number of events happening around Seattle and Tacoma to celebrate, including a new art installation honoring the Chinese rabbit deity, Tu'er Shen.

Chinese immigrants came to the Mississippi Delta as agricultural laborers. Many moved on to become grocers in African-American neighborhoods. Some stores remain, but many folks have moved on and away.
