The word is out — KNKX is a finalist for “Best Radio Station” in the Best of Western Washington contest run by Evening Magazine. The contest, in which the public votes for their favorites in a variety of categories, has been an annual feature on Evening Magazine for many years.
Other finalists for Best Radio Station include Movin’, KISW, KUOW and KEXP. To support your source for jazz, blues and NPR news, click over to KING 5’s site, choose the Best Radio Station category, and then cast your vote. Voting requires a valid email address.
There are other categories in the contest as well, such as Best Date Night, Best Indie Movie Theater and Best Attraction. Voting is open through Nov. 3 and winners will be announced starting the Nov. 18.
