Seattle Center Festál: Indigenous People Festival 2025
Be in community and share space with each other at Indigenous People Festival on Saturday June 7th at the Seattle Center Armory Food & Event Hall and Mural Amphitheatre.
This free one-day festival strives to combat harmful misrepresentations of Indigenous people and replace them with the opportunity to experience Indigenous art and culture from a lineup of contemporary talent.
Be captivated by nationally-recognized Native musical artists, comedians, and speakers on the Armory and Mural Amphitheatre stages. Shop from Native vendors selling art, jewelry, clothing, and food, with a portion of their sales going to the Seattle Indian Health Board’s Elder’s Program. Spend the day learning about Indigenous practices, songs, and concepts, and remain vigilant about the language and imagery you associate Native people with even after the festival is over.
Seattle Indian Health Board (SIHB) is a nonprofit and a community health clinic that provides health and human services to its patients, while specializing in the care of Native people. SIHB was formed in the 1960s by Native activists who refused for their tribes to go unrecognized, and in 1970, they opened their doors to the community. Since then, the organization is recognized as a leader in promotion of health improvement for American Indians and Alaska Natives, locally and nationally.
Indigenous People Festival is part of Seattle Center Festál, a year-round series of 25 free cultural festivals. Learn more about Festál (seattlecenter.com/festal).
