In honor of Valentine’s Day, an evening of songs about love. Sandy Mason sings about good love, bad love, love found, love lost, love of a lifetime, love to live for… and die for.

In a Sandy Mason show, we explore a wide range of genres, everything from Americana to Rock to Funk. There will be classic love songs from the Great American Song Book. Pop tunes from the ‘70’s. Blues from the 1920’s. Murder ballads, torch songs, stories of longing, devotion and betrayal. Delivered in a jazz setting with surprising arrangements by a killer band.

Among others, you’ll hear favorites from Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon, Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, Roberta Flack, Bessie Smith, Joni Mitchell and Fats Waller. They all knew love and they all sang about it. They’re all part of The Things We Do For Love.
