Experience an immersive evening where music, film, and visual art converge in powerful dialogue. The program opens with the world premiere of Worlds Within Worlds, a collaboration between Tacoma composer Gregory Youtz and Seattle painter Gary Faigin, whose surreal still-life imagery confronts the beauty, fragility, and peril of our changing world. Reich/Richter unites Steve Reich’s driving minimalism with Gerhard Richter’s mesmerizing film Moving Picture (946-3). This multimedia experience transforms the concert hall into a living gallery of contemporary art.
