Chai for Cancer Seattle
The Max Foundation, a Seattle-based global health nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating health equity, is hosting a Chai for Cancer Seattle event on Monday, April 29th from 5:30-7pm PT.
Chai for Cancer is an awareness and fundraising initiative aimed at supporting patients who are coping with cancers that require lifelong treatment and care.
It will be held at the lobby at 9th and Thomas Bldg (234 9th Ave, Seattle, WA 98109) in the South Lake Union neighborhood. It is free to the community to attend and we encourage folks to RSVP at https://tinyurl.com/MaxChaiforCancer
At the event, there will be a short presentation from our Region Head of South Asia, Viji Venkatesh, and VP of Program Operations, Michael Wrigglesworth, and of course, lots of complimentary chai!
Now in its 10th year, Chai for Cancer was originally started in India by Viji, who has been with Max for over 20 years, and recently made her acting debut in the Bollywood film "Pachuvum Athbuthavilakkum."
