Gather with friends and neighbors to hear from housing leaders and help chart the course forward for housing solutions on Vashon Island. Goals of the forum are:

To continue to broaden community understanding of the affordable housing crisis on Vashon Island and to explore further solutions building on the last VHH Housing Forum.

To educate and raise up new opportunities for affordable housing coming out of the most recent King County Comprehensive Plan and legislative session, including important pro-ADU (accessory dwelling unit) permitting changes.

To allow the Vashon Maury Community Council to present their “how to ADU” work and handbook and plans for an “ADU 101” workshop to be held later in the spring for Vashon Islanders eager to incorporate ADU’s on their property.
