Bremerton Foodline increases hours to help people hit by government shutdown

A Western Washington food bank is expanding its hours to help federal workers who aren’t being paid while the government is shut down.

Bremerton Foodline is staying open Wednesday evenings to help families affected by the shutdown.

Last week, the food bank saw 52 new households turnout to receive groceries, the majority of them federal employees.
