
Jacqueline Tabor
DirectorJacqueline Tabor is a renowned jazz, blues, and swing vocalist who has won the Earshot Jazz Vocalist of the Year award four times and received the Seattle-Kobe Sister City Association Award. Known as the "Seattle Chanteuse," she draws inspiration from Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, and Sarah Vaughn. Tabor has collaborated with the Seattle Repertory Jazz Orchestra since 2019. Recently, she expanded into poetry and composition. Her production "Don't Explain" was named Concert of the Year in 2022 by Earshot Jazz. Tabor teaches at the Seattle Jazz Academy and advocates for equity in the arts community.
