Join Leavenworth local and professional skier, Ingrid Backstrom, to watch the new film The Approach 2.

Brooklyn Bell, Vasu Sojitra, Sophia Rouches, Emilé Zynobia, Anna Soens and Ingrid Backstrom are reframing snowsports to be more inclusive, lifting each other up on the approach and cheering for each other on the way down.

Ingrid Backstrom has been skiing professionally for 16 years and has appeared in over 20 ski films including Warren Miller, Sherpas Cinema, and Matchstick Productions. She has been fortunate to make first descents of mountains in China, Greenland, and Baffin Island, as well as skiing in Pakistan, Greenland, and from the summit of Denali. She lives with her husband, two kids, and a dog in Leavenworth, Washington.

Doors open at 6:30pm for community social with local beer and wine available for purchase. The presentation begins at 7:00pm.
Free event with a donation basket at door. This is an in person event held at WRI's Red Barn.
