On July 3rd, Gayane Grigoryan will be performing a program of traditional, classical, and even modern Armenian music titled, "Mountain Sounds".
Playing violin since the age of seven, Gayane for her whole life has been shaped by music and her Armenian cultural heritage.
The program consists of musical works from prolific Armenian artists such as Khachaturian, Baghdasaryan, Chebotaryan, modern composer Mary Kouyoumdjian, and more!
Performing several styles from complex, fast, and exhilirating classical works, to heartfelt slow pieces, the program will have a blend of styles with a unique Armenian flavor that no other music has.
