As delightful as it is delicious, the Big Hat Brunch is a spectacular themed fundraising fête for Oasis Youth Center, Pierce County’s only drop-in, resource, and support center dedicated to queer and questioning youth. This year's theme of Back on Broadway highlights the power of community and storytelling coming together in a joyous and artistic celebration that you won’t want to miss. Join us in celebrating the role the queer community has in musicals and theatre that often reflects the truest and most authentic expressions of ourselves through song and dance. Trust us when we say you'll want to be "in the room where it happens!" The program will be emceed by the amazing Sister Glo Euro N'Wei from the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and Lavinda Lyfe. Get to know what Oasis has been up to this last year and all the different ways Oasis has been engaging in the community from behind our computer screens and in-person.

Oasis Youth Center is the only drop-in and support center dedicated to the needs of LGBTQ youth ages 11-24 in Pierce County. They are a youth-adult partnership in which youth and adults come together for shared teaching learning and action!

Oasis is committed to creating a safe, affirming space for LGBTQ youth to be proud of who they are with the encouragement they need to become healthy, productive and fully participating members of the community. Supported by a team of dozens of staff and volunteers, Oasis offers an amazing array of activities to more than 500 youth annually.
