VOCALIST JOAN PENNEY ON THE GREAT WOMEN INFLUENCERS OF JAZZ
Come to Anacortes Public Library at 7 pm on Thursday September 21at 7 pm for a free talk, illustrated with audio and video recordings, about history’s most influential female jazz singers. Joan is a very popular local jazz singer in the Pacific Northwest, and also a music educator with BA and MA degrees. The event is sponsored by the Anacortes Library Foundation Manieri Endowment.
