Alex Ashley may hail from a small harbor town in the Pacific Northwest, but the Laurel Canyon sound rushes from him like a torrent.

In his early 30s, the “triple threat” singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist creates an electrifying amalgam of poignant storytelling, incendiary guitar playing, and honeyed vocals with a hint of smoke. Listening to Alex Ashley’s songs is like warming yourself around a fire built with the records of the Eagles, the Flying Burrito Brothers, Dires Straits, and CSNY. He has been often compared to Jackson Browne and “a young Vince Gill.”
