Bainbridge Island Sun Day –September 21

On Sunday September 21 Bainbridge Island will be one of hundreds of communities across the country celebrating Sun Day. These gatherings are to celebrate the unstoppable rise of clean energy and the movement to leave fossil fuels behind.

Our Sun Day celebration will be at the Bainbridge Public Library on September 21 from 11:00 to 12:30.

You’ll learn of projects around the Island and by the Suquamish tribe that have or will be putting solar on their roofs. We’ll honor the Library’s plans to install a solar system on its roof this coming November. Solar installers and other experts will be there to answer your questions.
