The “Concerts at the James” summer season kicks off with a special performance by the Sequim
City Band, celebrating the 130th Sequim Irrigation Festival. This year’s music program, themed
“Where Music Flows and the Force Grows” highlights the essential role of water and the gardens it
nourishes. Enjoy beautiful pieces like Steven Reineke’s ‘River of Life’ and Percy Grainger’s
‘Country Gardens.’
To close the performance on May 4th, in honor of the day, the band will bring the iconic music of
