Seattle Center Festal presents Irish Festival Seattle 2025 - March 15-16

The Irish Heritage Club is inviting the community to celebrate Irish culture and heritage on St. Patrick’s Day Weekend at the Irish Festival Seattle, which is part of the Seattle Center Festál series.

The free festival will be held at the Seattle Center Armory Food & Event Hall from noon-6 p.m. on March 15 and from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on and March 16.

Attendees can experience live Irish music, step dancing, cultural exhibits, genealogy workshops, all-ages activities, and authentic Irish and Celtic food and craft goods. It will also feature a digital arts display showcasing four contemporary Irish artists: Bassam Al-Sabah, Katie Nolan, Elinor O’Donovan, and Daniel Murray.

Complementing the arts display will be two talks and lectures by Professor Micheál O’Connell of Sussex University: “To Hell with Trad! Irish Digital and Tech Art Now” and “Artificial Stupidity and the Overlooked History of Ireland’s ‘Tech Bros,’ Sisters, and Disruptors.” Documentaries highlighting Ireland’s historical tech achievements and digital evolution will also be shown.
